SPEED SENSOR

So about 2-3 months ago I did auto to 5spd swap and used the wrong speed sensor it would show I was going 120mph in 2nd gear. My question is I just got a new 97 one and it does not come with a gear on it? Will the gear from the 91 speed sensor fit on it? And is the gear the main reason the speed is off so much?

So I just pulled the old one the was off a 91 ka and the gear will not go on the 97 speed sensor. Is this the right one? Or did the send me the auto speed sensor?

I got an s14 with an s13 transmission I believe and I have the same problem. My speed is more than twice. I guess I need an s14 speed sensor too but its bad if it doesnt come with gear

I have a question too.

Where is the speed sensor? o.O located on the car? and how do you get to it if you wanted to change it?
