Well I have a digialt Cluster and it dosent more like most of them out in the world, so I got a ecu reader to see if I could just get the speed from the ecu, but it wont pick up the speed from that either unless the cluster turns on for a second like it does. I guess its wired to to the cluster first then the ecu, I was just wondering if thier was a way to read it from the ecu even if the cluster does not work? Sorry if that dosent make sense.

I assume you're wanting to run a separate, external speedometer right? If so, you should be able to tap off of the speed sensor wiring on the transmission to hook it up. That's how I have the speedo wired on the MG, though it has a standalone ecu so there's no factory ecu to deal with at all.

BTW, Welcome to NICO!

Thank you for the welcome =).

I actually I have a Greddy Informeter. I was hoping this solve a bunch of problems in 1. My Tempature gauge dosent work and speedo, I thought that just reading the info from the ECU. It Reads the tempature plus multiple other things, but since the digital cluster dosent works it seems the ECU dosent know what the speed the car is running at, I was hoping thier was away around the Digital cluster so that the ecu is able to read the sensor again.

Hmmm. Do you have a FSM? If not the files are available for download here. There may be a way to make it work, but I'm not sure what it is. The digital cluster is kinda complicated and can be a real pita. I'm not really familiar with how the infometer installs or works, so that doesn't help either...

All the Informeter does is plug into the Diagnostics Port under the dash and then reads the ecu almost like a code scanner short of. Ive been looking at the wire diagrams trying to see if thier is a way, still no luck though.
