speed sensor replaced check engine light still on

The check engine light came (97 200sx se-r 100k) on a few weeks ago and it checked out to be the speed sensor that needed to be changed. Then the light came back on a week after the sensor was changed. I had it checked out to see if something was loose and my mechanic friend reset the light. Well, it came back on early this week. Any suggestions? Speedometer works fine. It also just dies once and a while. Seems to be when it is cold. Could they be tied together? Thanks!!

Was the speedsensor the only code the ecu was throwing?

Check this code, I think it's not going to be the same. Dying while cold would have nothing to do with the speed sensor.

Could be the speed sensor on the flywheel? dunno if its the same as the Se-R's that have the speed sensor built into the flywheel too.
