speed sensor question

Am I going to have to switch out my CA speed sensor for my KA one if I have a HUD? I know that this topic has alredy been covered, but I couln't find anything in my searches. Thanks for helping out the annoying repetetive question guy.

First of all, welcome to the forums! Secondly, we have a search button that will almost always have an answer to your questions. We have had some minor problems with it as of late, but at least give it a try. Also, we have stickies at the top of each forum that give you lots of good info. Please check them out, and once again, welcome!!!

In answer to your question, either switch the sensors, or at least swap the gears over. I actually swapped the gears, but that was only because there was a bad connection in the wiring of the KA sensor and the CA sensor wires were fine. For most people though, putting the KA sensor into the CA transmission is all you need to do.
