When I get the speed sensor and change it out am I going to have to drain my transmission during that proccess? I'm not 100% sure how it works and don't know if fluid is in that area, I assume not but wanted to ask to make sure.

TIA

if your fast enough with the swap out you wont loose much fluid. but yes fluid is in that area. Hint: if you can reach the trans vent tube on the top. plug it of with a rubber plug before you do it. if you dont have any fluid leaks near the top of your trans i.e. shift boot ,switches. And your fluid level is correct in the trans, you wil be able to swap this part with only a couple drops lost since the fluid will be held in by a vaccum in the trans. DONT FORGET TO REMOVE THE PLUG WHEN YOUR DONE.
