Speed Sensor or Reverse sensor on sr transmission

Apparently someone told me that the speed sensor is on the front of the bell housing towards the motor and the reverse sensor is near the drive shaft on the sr transmission. when i was looking at the FSM for sr20's it said the reverse sensor is near the motor and from what i think the speed sensor should be at the shift linkage side towards the drive shaft correct? im kinda confused because both of the plugs look identical besides for the coloring of the plugs

You're correct. The speed sensor is at the rear of the trans and the reverse switch is near the bell housing.
