I've searched the forums to see how to hook up the speedo to work. But all i found was how people wired it directly from the speedometer to the sensor in S14's with RB25 swap.

I was wondering Which one is the speed sensor on the RB25 Series I transmission. I did a automatic -> 5 sp conversion and i THINK i have the speed sensor off the automatic (little magnetic plug?)

Does anyone know which wires i can cut and solder together from an auto to the 5 sp to make my speedo work?

Thanks!

the lower ka harness has the two wires for the speed sensor and you have to cut and splice the rb speed sensor plug from the rb lower harness and plug it in the rb speed sensor and if it doesnt work when you drive swap the wires and it should work. I personally dont remember the colors of the rb25 speed sensor wires that spliced to the ka lower harnness. if you hook it up wrong the speedo wont get hurt it will simply just not work and you just have to cut and resplice the wires. again im sorry that i dont remember the colors i did my swap over a year ago.

also if its an s14 its a two wire gray skinny plug cause all speed sensor plugs on the auto and manual are all 2 wire plugs. the speed sensor on the rb trans looks like circle with two wires coming out. just look up the write up on auto manual swap for s14 and you will be able to see what im talking about. theres a writeup on nico. search
