okay so I swapped my auto for a manual transmission and my speed sensor reads double due to it being the s13 sensor. Anyways my question is what is my current supposed to be coming from the sensor? According to the fsm the s14 sensor reads .5v and since the s13 is reading double, i assume its voltage would be double making it 1v. So can I just use ohm's law to figure out what size resistor I need to get an accurate reading on my speedo? Otherwise its 150ish for a sensor from Nissan...

im not sure of the exact signal it puts out but id say just go for the s14 sensor, find one at a local junk yard,

but my word of advice is that for now you should unplug that sensor because its puttin alot of miles on your odometer, i ran mine cause it didnt bother me as much as a needle not movin on my s14, then when i wrecked it insurance saw 200k+ miles on the odo even tho i only had like 40k on my sr  just my 2 cents
