speed ometer hookup

my speed ometer needs hooked up. in my s14 with an SR needs hooked up at the transmation please help...corey

be more specific , like you can't find the wires, or the sensor , or what ..

see i dont know thats the thing. its an s14 with an s13 sr20det redtop motor/transmission swap. i dont know what to look for to see whats not hooked up or w/e. i was under it yesterday and i think the sensor was this 1 it had 2 wires coming out the plug on it and it was weird looking not like the others. its all hooked up but still not working.

It's the biggest sensor on the transmission, directly underneath the shift lefer to coming out of the passenger side of the transmission.

an S13 speed sensor will not work with an S14. You need to buy an S14 speed sensor or if your car was a stick to begin with...just swap the speed sensor from your old transmission into the SR20's
