fuel cut is around 118 and it hits hard. Thats about it.

(Think about hitting 118-120, and having it feel like someone slammed on the brakes to bring you down to around 113)

Probably like hitting the rev limiter, hellish, miserable, God-awful, AND embarrasing...

but at 120mph.

it's humorous if you ask me, but then again, I don't have one on my car so I wouldn't know what it's like to always have one...

Had a limiter on my old Z24. Shutdown at it 110 and picked right back up at 109.

Pain in the butt.

As far as I heard all the 240 has a factory speed governor (speed limiter) which comes on around 112mph.

Edit: but wait....why would you ask that if you were the one who asked if speed limiters were bad or good in the first place?

B/c I heard auto 240sx's don't have them. So I thought it might be better to buy an auto and convert it to manual. (??)

The s13 and s14 have different cut points. Both can be solved very easily and has been discussed many times. The s13 cut out is 110 ar at thats what my HUD said. The s14 is about 120. I am speaking for manuals on both. Autos do have a fuel cut it is just higher, like 135. On both cars all you do is cut one yellow wire with a grey stripe on your ecu and unplug your 4th and 5th gear rev limiter from your transmission. You are now only limited by redline. BTW the HUD only dislpays up to 125. I have gone 1000 rpm beyond that point and could have kept going with more road.

no, it can easily be fixed, do a search on it.

it's a lot easier then an auto to manual conversion.
