i have a 2009 2.5s and i wanted to know is there any way i can take the limiter off without going to the dealer or something, i wanted to do it my self. when it its hit around 110mph it goes slow and when it hits about 117mph it just stays where.

BullyDog Power Pup. If you have the CVT you will be limited by the CVT anyways not much more past that.

Yeah there really isn't a point unless you're racing.

Really has nothing to do with it. He's talking about top speed, not how quick he can get there. lol.

Boost it... car goes into the garage... with a lift... tomorrow... :o

Why do you need to go over 110 mph anyway?

because ppl like to go fast lol honestly, its not even really about the speeding part, its about having the ability to go that fast if i would like to. my car is limited to like 135 mph or something like that but i hardly ever get it past 120.

on a side note, ive seen a vid of a stock 2.5s stick shift going up to 145 MPH with no limiter.

I'm not sure what tires they put on the 09's but the original stock tires that they put on the 08's were only rated at 112. So if you do get the bully tuner check your rubbers.
