Speed limiter?

I was driving along yesterday and realized that since installing my newly converted JDM Speedo I hadn't had the car up to top speed. Before the conversion I could bury the stock speedo and keep going until some magic point in which the limiter hit, so this had my curiosity going. I found out this magic number is 130mph. I thought the speed cut on the SR was at 115 just like the KA. Are there two? I'm not trying to get rid of my limiter nor do/ encourage top speed runs. I'm just curious to see if anyone else has realized this. And the speedo is accurate incase your wondering about that.

BTW it a 96' S13 blacktop with what Heavy Throttle called a very rare harness, not the type x though.

mine seems to cu out at 115 as well. mine is a E5 blacktop type X

i have a 89 s13 with a s13 sr20det blacktop and my speedometer needle goes past 115(no fuel cut, stock ecm), is my speedometer reading correct? i tested it at 60mph and it was reading correct.

ive got the s13 blacktop in my s14 and my speedo is pretty accurate and i topped out my car last night at about 127. my ka auto went past that but my sr gets me there quicker

Redtop and stock 63 ECU... I topped mine out at 115....

120 so far...to scary with trafic, road conditions and bad suspension...thats as fast as i need

my paint im pretty sure is nissan k11(smoke), found on the newer nissans

Mine hit the wall hard at 115 stock (if i remember right)

With the EMS it pulls all the way to 166...

it used to hit at 115mph, now with the greddy speed limiter cut controller, she'll keep going til she pops.

He goes son do you know why im pulling you over, and I said was I going to fast, he said no you were flying to low, and I laughed and told him that I just purchased the vehicle and went for a test run, and he gave me a ticket for like 20 over . It was an exspensive one.

i was talking to a buddy with a sr swap and has 2 240s.. i told him i topped out at about 127.. he said i might have a chipped ecu? any thoughts? s13 blacktop..... by the way, this thing was soo clean when i got it, you could eat off it. its like brand new prob a 96-97 motor
