Speed Limiter on S14 Blacktop SR20DET??! HKS SLD?

How do you remove the speed limiter on an s14 blacktop sr??

I have been doing some research and haven't really found much helpful information so far.

I did find a product called the HKS SLD. ( http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=781&rsku=5270) Comes in 2 versions, type 1 (most manuals) and type 2 (most automatics)

Would the type 1 actually remove the 115/5500RPM 5th gear speed/rev limiter??

I want to remove the rev limiter w/out disabling the tachometer, spending tons of money on something like a standalone system, or cutting some wires to later regret it
