Hi,

How to eliminate the speed limiter on a 2007 G35?

Thanks,

Through a reflash or repogramming of the ECU, for the most part. I have no idea which company does that. Hopefully someone will chime in.

The best you can get is the technosquare flash.

Other options are some of the japanese engine management systems but that will cost you a fortune. With the technosquare flash you get around 305-310 hp to the wheel.

Not sure when Cobb tuning comes out with their product to the sedan. That would do it too.

Hope this helps.

Since I added test pipes, I haven't yet hit the rev limiter as I used to do when the car was stock. And I have no relfash doen to my car.

I looked at the technosquare web-site and I don't see anything about the 2007 sedan. Also, I would be amazed to see an increase of 50hp to the wheel from just a re-flash of a G35.

Well not 50 but 25 whp. That's what some of the guys got with it. Same the 350Z guys with the hr engine. 25 hp at wheel.

Stock can go around 280+.http://www.dragtimes.com/2007-....htmlStock 5AT.zozo

I followed a lot of those Cobb discussions but I though I finally saw something that said the final test results were only yielding 7-8 whp...can't remember where I saw it or if I read it correctly. I'll look around.

Yes that was for the DE engines. For the 1st generation G. I don't think cobb will be as good as technosqare. The only good thing is lot more comfortable to just conect it yourself then send you ecu out for flash. Cobb is more flexible and you an have your own map.

There is another company actually doing the trani programing but it is a load of money. But the result is stunning. Reduce the shifting time almost half on the AT.

Suby I would wait till you get the pulley in.

Well, I can tell you right now that if they can get 25 whp for the 07+ models, I'll be one of the first to order it. I've been thinking about buying a HFC but I wonder if that will be an issue with the Cobb?

If you want it you can send an email to techno Square and they can do it for you. They are pretty fast too. I think they turn it around in 2 days(over the weekend).

Cobb wil have issues with everything probably. Also not sure hp gain with the Cobb but I am positive it will be way less then 25 hp. So if the 25hp is what you vote for just get the TS flash.
