Are you routinely going faster than 112 MPH? While I could just tell you to search (note the blinking red SEARCH button on top of the page) I'll instead advise you not to worry about it. Frankly, unless you're tracking your car routinely, there's no reason to remove your speed governor. Same goes for your rev limiter.

^ agreed. But it also depends on which engine you have. So if you really want to do it and find a write up, make sure it's for your car.

The only way to completely do this along with moving the 5th gear rev limiter to 7000RPMs is either to get an aftermarket ECU, or swap in the ECU from an automatic 240sx. The auto ecu rev limiter is at 7000RPMs in 5th which is somewhere around 165MPH.

just in case, like I mentioned before, I believe the method described on that page will work only for a KA24DE, which is stock in years 91 and up. That is why the guy with the 89 had problems.

Put an auto ECU in your car.
