Since i would like to rev to 7100 rpm in every gear. . .i need to know where to find a cheap automatic KA ecu!

Also, would there be a difference between the 89-90 ka auto ecu's and the 91-94, since the older S13's were SOHC?

Oh, if you have other ways of SAFELY removing the governor/speed and rev limiter let me know.

I was looking at precision speed chips on ebay. . .i dont think they will solve the rev limitting problem but improve overall HP, i'm not sure how to verify this so i just messaged a few people who bought them on ebay with some questions, i'll make sure to post the results soon.

you get a switch (any type) from like a radioshack or something. take off passenger kickpanel and find the ecu. find the vss wire (i cant remember exactly which one it was) and cut it. connect each end to the switch (dont matter which side) i drilled a little hole in my glovebox to put my switch in and tucked my wire so no one knows a thing. whenever i want, i can open my glovebox and flip the switch, the speedo wont work anymore but i can go as fast as i want. ive cruised at 140+ in a damn near stock sohc 240!

why do u want to rev to 7100 when redline is like 6800 and after a certain point your not gaining any more power

Yeah, if anything, you'll be accelerating better if you shift. More power away from the redline.Besides, the redline is there for a reason. Your engine isn't built to go past 7k safely until you upgrade your internals.

I thought on the S13 the speed governor was a lower RPM cut in 5th gear, so you just cut the 5th gear switch. Is that for manual ECU's only?

All of your comments are great and generally valid, but the main question is where can i find an automatic KA ecu? I've looked for the past few days to no avail. . .

I want my spedometer to work. . .and i don't necessarily want to push my car to 7100 rpms but also dont want a cutoff switch making that decision for me.

Try Junkyard, Ebay, or post a WTB add in the classifieds.

Answer to your question, Get a Apex Rev/Speed Meter or get your ecu tuned

We are making up that 10% DOHC S13 ecu pin 32 cut the yeloow wire with green stripe...your problem will be solved. Teste don a 93 dohc and 91 dohc works great.

Yes the speedometer will still work I know this because i have done the wire cutting of the yellow/green wire and i have cut two more wires for the 5 and 4 rev limiter wires but the gas cut off catches up for some reason. unless i cut the wrong wire for the rev limiter.
