speed gov removal???

i was told that you can remove the speed gov on the ecu from the sr20det. so how do i do that? i have a '97 blacktop sr20det

how is getting a ecu tune wrong?? plus he has the 97 sr hes prolly gonna end up getting a tune sooner or later

yeah which wire is it? and by cutting that wire the speedo still reads correctly and the mileage still ticks? and there isnt any other performance problems that are hindered by that?
