Speed Gov.....No Good

ok guys i have a 95 240 stock everything but intake and exhaust... now i did this trick to my old 01 cavalier but none of my guages worked ran out of gas once and ruined my fuel pump...stupid chevy.

anyway i want to get rid of the speed gov. on the 240 without loosing my gauges.... any ideas.....i did search but no luck.....

on a 95 240 s14 cut off is 120. would like to get rid of it for track purposes lol

not if you want everything to work. if you are really that cheap, wire a switch to your fifth gear sensor and turn it off when you want to go fast. just wont have any idea how fast youre goin.

Im pretty damn sure its the yellow wire with green stripe on ECU harness. It prevents the ECU from knowing your speed, hence to gov and you gauges will still work
