I have a 2011 Altima 2.5, I bought used, but since I had it the speed never go over 140km/h, almost 86 mph.
On acceleration I feel that the car "cuts" the acceleration process on exactly 140km/h
I checked it many times for errors but it didn't give any serious errors with transmission or engine.
Please help me with what could be the problem

When you push the gas pedal after you reach that speed, does the RPM move at all? or it drops?

the RPM is just normal, it doesn't go over 3, and the car is not screaming, it is running very smooth on 140km/h, just it doesn't want to make even 141km.
i tryed to push the RPM in the park position it goes as far as want, it's just normal

Is your car Canadian? It sounds as though your speed is cut at 86mph due to a speed limiter. However, due to the speed being relatively low. You may want to have your car diagnosed by a dealership to determine if the cause is due to something else.

Yea, I've never heard of this problem before. Other members had a problem close to this but it had to do with ECU.

i was told that this can be done by UpRev software, and that this is how the speed was cut in the first place
