Has anyone done with the nistune ecu? Thinking about doing it but not sure if it will work with the nistune!

The short answer is no. The long answer is maybe, but it would require you to have A LOT of computer software and hardware knowledge, a lot of time and a healthy dose of masochism.

HKS made something they called a VPC controller or something way back in the day. They're pretty much only available used, but pop up on ebay every now and then. Translates a speed density signal into a voltage signal that the ECU would normally expect from the MAF.

IMO it's not worth the hassle, it's just a more complex SAFC. Mass Flow is already the most accurate way of measuring engine load, why layer a complex system over an already complex system? You're just creating another opportunity for something to go wrong. Z32 MAF should be plenty unless you're pushing insane amounts of airflow, in which case you'd likely already have gone full standalone.

Was just more curious than anything. Randomly my MAF reads I'm at full boost while idling and not moving so for that time it gets really ric and dies.

Check your wiring. Sounds like you have your signal wire shorting to your 5v supply or some other power source.
