Speed cut no more :)

I'm tired of hitting that cut even though I haven't hit it in over 6 months.But I always knew it was there. Tonight plans were to go bowling, but my other friend is going with his VW club to the track and I think I'm going to tag along.Anyways it's a good drive on the interstate and figured we would go over 115 at certain times. So I just went and cut the yellow wire with green stripe. 1st attempt I got to 110 in 4th shifted to 5th accelerated for maybe a second and then it just slows down fast rpm's fall with speed.couple more attempts but other cars were coming towards me so I backed down in case of anything. Tried again as soon as I shifted to 5th car drops speed. I'm turning the corner to go back home and splice the wire back together but figure I'll give it one last shot. This time I shift at 100 and I keep on going I was going approx 130. My cruise control still worked in 4th gear I didn't try 5th. I live on the outskirts of a very small town and I know I should of left this testing to the track, but I know the roads around my house where this no traffic.Please forgive me.

Yeah the speed cut is annoying as hell.
