Ok guys I give apparently if anyone f's me I can sue the ****e out of them but heres the website, the pin and all, is it worth figthing...its public anyway...was I speeding?

http://www.public.cite-web.com/

Citation # 00150188PIN # 283477389

Is it even worth it?

Again, I might have been going from a 45 to 35...I was just killing time going down town from Cleve Clinic...I obviously wasn't speeding on purpose (if I was)...obviously I cannot get any points for this maybe just take the court appearance and plead "a good dude"? Eh? I'm willing to take all on-line evidence as worth while...as It has to be admitted in court..but all in all, I'm pretty sure a real cop wouldn't pull me over for that...It was very rainy, I remember turning around up around 130th because it was closed. due to flooding..anyway..any help is good, thanks guys and gals!

my suggestion would be to show up in court to fight this and hope that the D.A. reduces your speed or waives this. If you plead not guilty, in the states I am aware of, the worse case is they find you guilty and you pay the orginally fine. I am not an attorney so this is just my previous expierence and you may want to consultant an attorney blah blah.

I like to speed (did I just admit that?) and have been ticketed a few times-I showed up in court dressed nicely, was polite, plead not guilty and had my fines lowered. Just be ready to spend an entire day (maybe even have to go back) in court. It is great to people watch though....

wow!! Look at you go!! You were flying!!!! Just kidding..lol..I actually found the video kind of funny. You should absolutely take this to court. This is ridiculous. I would think that any judge in his right mind would drop this.

Go in to talk to the clerks where you pay the fine and ask to talk to the judge about a pretrial diversion. Thats what I did on my last ticket and I didnt have to pay a dime. What happens is the judge looks at the situation and your record and decides yea or nay for the pretrial. If its a yes you dont have to pay any court costs or anything, but you cant get another ticket for usually a year. If you do get another ticket in that time period, you have to pay for both. Its basically a double or nothing. But if youre sure you can be good for a year its easy on the pocketbook. If the judge says no to the pretrial then I would imagine you can just go to your court date (and hope for a different judge lol) to argue the ticket. Im not sure if or how this would work on a speed camera but it cant hurt to try.

thanks for the video access!

my honest opinion is that is does look like you were traveling at a higher speed than that of the oncoming traffic.. but i would try to fight it especially if your record is clean and shows you havent had a frequency of related or non related violations.

good luck!

wow, you got a ticket for going 1 over the allowable speed huh? I'm guessing its a ten mph cushion. Well, they cant lower the offense or fine because that would be a dismissal of the ticket, but maybe they would just take the fine away if you show them your puppy face.

Check for the calibration records and test results as soon as you discover the company that operates the camera. If they cant produce the trial date you should be off the hook.

Thanks everyone, I'm still on the fence in what to do, obviously since its 100 dollar fine and no points, talking to a lawyer is not an option (unless free)I think I am gonna make them go through the motions anyway, If I have to pay it, sobeit, it'll cost them more than 100 bucks to try me anyway considering man-hours, etc.

Oh BTW I don't have a record this is 1st time the Ohio govt has seen my name since I got my Driver's License here

Ok so apparently if you contest online, you have a 50/50 shot of gettign it dropped if you threaten a court date which will cost them more in time and manpower than the ticket is worth....so I filed my appeal online and threatened a court appearance in a very professional manner...stay tuned
