SPEDO NOT WORKING

ok since ive swapped the sr my speedo hasnt worked. it worked with the ka and it hsnt since the sr i swapped the sensor from the ka still nothing i baught a new one and still nothing i dont know what else i could check. its a 96 blacktop s13 motor in a 95 240. any help i would appreciate it.

You need to use an S14 KA or S14 SR speed sensor in an S14 240SX. I would follow the wiring to make sure it hasnt been damaged.

I all ready replaced it with a new one

Id check your wiring for continuity. I think when you put a S13 SR into a S14, you end up splicing some wires and connecting them. Even if you use the S13 speed sensor on the S14, you still get a reading from the sensor( it actually reads more than double of what it should) If you arent getting anything from the sensor, then the wiring is probably not right.
