So yeah this is as good a place as any to post this up, This is where I will chronicle the fall of my 240sx...I mean the rebuild of my 240sx.

January 25th 2010 - New motor was dropped in the car and 90% of the work on the car was half-assed just to get it done..Huge mistake that is now haunting me. I had no clue what to do with the car while the motor was out of it, boy was I an idiot..

January 25th 2011 - 50% of the components under the hood have been removed.

Front Bumper, Both Front Fenders, all turbo components have been removed. More Pictures to come tomorrow!

Ok So a friend of mine and I decided that friday night was a good night to pull the motor from my 240..so we did. I had another friend helping me by taking photos. (im the one covered in Grease)

We figured the easiest way to do this was to leave the Motor on the subframe and just roll it to where I was going to work on it so that is what we did. Its nice to have room to work in the bay again

I don't think I have removed a motor like that on a nissan yet, but looks like fun.

Well it was that or rent an engine lift and I didn't want to wait until the next day to do that so lol it worked. and now I don't have to fight with the mounts to get the motor back onto them.

Nice! I will be waiting for more updates. May I ask why you are taking the motor out?
