Could someone please send me a link to which converter I would need to run my JVC HU (LX3 Kameleon) on the existing bose speaker/amp setup. The plan would be to replace the speakers down the road, but for now, this is all I can afford to do. I need the list of 3 parts.

Let me start by saying that my head unit has preouts for all 4 channels (RCA style), are there any that use this or are all these converters High level converters?

1) Wiring harness, not just just the speakers, but power, antenna (actuate the power antenna). All to get the HU working.*Do these include whats necessary to signal needed to actuate the bose amps on?

2) Mounting Kit (I cant seem to find ANYTHING for sale to install a aftermarket HU [single DIN w/ a tray or something] in a Infinti J30)

* I have seen sometimes 3 different converters for sale, I need a link or a model number so I get the correct one.

Again, this is for a 1993 Infiniti J30

Do you think there is any difference with this unit you talk about, and the Soundgate OEM4A? I think the one you pointed out I saw at CircuitCity tonight for about $44. I saw that Tweeter (local store) carries the other recommended converter made by Soundgate called the OEM4A. It sells on the internet for around $59-79. I am wondering if it is a better unit or if it really matters. -Robert Cole

And you'll need a pocket to fill the double din gap that you should be able to find at any place that does installs.

I ran the bose speakers wired to Kenwood headunit for a while - the sound wasnt amazing but it was just as good as the Bose and better than anything I've heard stock beside some of the Lexus Nakamichi, and Mark Levinsons.
