Hey guys what going on..??I have a question regarding a specific feature on this greddy turbo timer. I heard a rumor that there is a function on this timer that will estimate the amount of run time needed to properly allow the turbo to cool down, depending on how hard the motor is driven. This is purely an EXAMPLE: On the turbo timer in this feature mode you set the baseline rpm to about 4k rpm... Once thats done, the timer will monitor the rpm's and every time you go over that 4k rpm and or stay above that mark, the timer will add "X" amount of time to to the counter.. So if you were to stay at about 5k rpm for about 15 sec worth, the the timer would add "2" minutes to the counter and so forth. And the more the motor sits above 4k rpm, the longer the countdown will be to allow more cool down time..Is this true or are these guys full of crap..??

If so, how can I do this to my timer cause i bought mine used and i didnt get a manual..

ThanksRobert

I dont know how yours is but mine has always added time if I were to be on the highway or city driving.I dont know if it goes by RPM's because I'm not tapped into any RPM signal. At least I dont think I am, I had a shop install mine but it doesnt look RPM dependent.

If you download the install and instruction guides (which you should) from the Greddy site, it explains it.It estimates engine speed from alternator output.
