Alright let me start off, this is my ZIt's about 90% restored totally with new parts. And i do know a lot about 300zx's i work for Nissan now and then and i also drive a 240sx. SO with all that said, i've seen my 300z with the exact same set up a few times (light blue/skirts and whatnot) and i was wondering is this some kind of 1986 edition? i know they put out a lot of Z's that looked similar in the 80's but i mean these are all identical, and when working tonight someone sold and bought the exact same car as mine, (minus my mods). so, anyone?

There were only two special edition Z31s. One was the 1984 50th Anniversary Edition. The other was the 1988 Shiro Special.

Seeing as how there were 37,663 1986 non turbo 2 seaters made, there is a very good chance you'll run into more than one other car that has all the same features and options as yours.

the 86 was unique in it's styling, sort of a half way point between the 84-85 style and the 87-89 style, also the year 3rd breaklights became mandatory so all 86 models got a spoiler with the brake light
