How harsh are the solid tension rods vs. the factory ones? Is it bearable or barely noticeable?

its very bearable.. I would say it has more to do with the tires. Also I didnt really notice that much more harshness (but steering feel is AMAZING compared to stock).

I would say it adds more noise IE you hear the bumps but you dont really feel them much more

I was just checkin' mine out when I was under the ol' gal. My bushings aren't quite shot yet, but there is a little cracking. Thanks for the heads up, might order up a set.

Are the Tein's comparable to the SPL's? They are both around the same price. Which set is better for our G50s?

I would presume they are comparable. The specifications and materials for the Teins are in the posting. SPL is just down the road from me. They are also a Tein dealer.
