Hey, I just recently started on my sr20det swap and I purchased a spec stage 2 clutch for it. I noticed that there is a big difference between my oem throwout bearing and the spec throwout bearing. I first checked to see if they sent me the wrong clutch but the part number on the outside of the box is right and the clutch alignment tool fits just fine in the old clutch, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. So, i figured this would be the best place to get some advice on the spec if the part of the throwout bearing has to be pressed out and into the new one. There is a decent difference in size too. Here's some pics of the differences and I appreciate any helpful advice.

Thanks

yeah..but i was unsure if the center section was part of the race of the throwout bearing and was all one piece or if it could be pressed out and into the new bearing

you dont need to press anything in or out. Just tap the old TOB off and tap the new one on. Find something round about the size of the inside diameter of the TOB and tap it on slowly making sure its level.
