spec stage 3 is really vague, and doesnt mean anything.... 6 puck clutches are overkill if you dont need them, they work like an on and off switch, and there isnt much of any leeway with using them like a stock clutch.

I just bought a TZ DXD SBC clutch, its got a kevlar lining on the steel backed plate and holds 480 foot pounds of torque and rides and feels near stock once its broken in, i had mine cryogenic treated to ensure some more reliability. I've heard nothing but good with these clutches and anything from DXD, which is really a third party modifier for DK clutches, also known as Daikin Klutch, aka, Exedy. Its good ****...

I lol'ed

I guess you get used to it, but i kept stalling his car out when he let me drive. If you're not putting downt the power to use a puck clutch, I wouldnt get one. I can imagine walking with a limp because one leg is so much stronger from all the clutch work from sitting in traffic

edit: if its 15psi on the stock turbo, then yes, that clutch is overkill

STAGE 3????All marketing garbage.Don't feel bad because EVERYBODY eats it up.It's all "Pretty packaging" and a easy to SELL system of classification. LOLOne "Stage 3" compared to another companies "Stage 3" is different.

What material is the clutch made out of??How much clamp load is on the Pressure plate??Who makes the Pressure plate? (Oem modified, custom PP alumnium or stamped steel, Taiwanese/Chinese/Mexican etc garbage)How are your hydraulics??

There's more to a clutch that just a Stage 4600 Super Street Fighter Edition. LOL

Kansei,

Are you using the stock pressure-plate? Did you get a clutch 'kit' or just the clutch disk? Reason: I have been looking at the ACT NX6-HDSS kit. About the same price as what you got, and it is supposedly to be made by Daikin as well. And it comes with a pressure-plate and bearings and has a holding capacity of 400ft/lbs.

Imports: Nissan: 300-z: HD-Street Series: third row, seventh column is 'buy now' for the clutch Kansei240 is speaking of.

89-96 : 3.0 N/T VG30DE : K06045 But you have to specify which 'stage' you are interested in. HTH

I'm only looking to run abou 350-400HP.This clutch right here is a very smooth blend of Ceramic and it not only have a Sprung Hub but it also has marcel springs like your stock clutch.

The pressure plate is not very agressive, but I did modify the Fulcrum to get a little more clamp load along with other things. The Pressure plate is also a OEM NISSAN unit, not a shady unknown aftermarket piece. It also is machined totally FLAT.Stock PP's have concave and are machined with a bit of a Bevel/Angle to them. With a FLAT PP you get better wear/life out of you clutch disc.

This clutch has a stock like pedal feel and is very smooth with easy engagment/dis.

If your interested in one let me know, I may be able to get you one.

if your only looking for 350-400, definitally go sprung, unsprung have harsher engagement and are a good deal stiffer generally.

I still suggest the spec stage 3, its good for around 475 ft pounds tq at the flywheel safely. I love my clutch, has yet to slip on me ever.

w/e you do get, make sure you properly break it it, this is the most important part... otherwise your pissing money down the drain.

That's the clutch & flywheel I have.

That setup is really smooth!!!!Plus it'll hold the power, and the flywheel is gonna make T-response crazy on my 20!!!!
