I'd go ACT. I was recently debating this myself as i was in the market for a new clutch and i heard some reports of Spec clutches having slipping problems. I'd rather just pay the little extra for the ACT and not have to worry about that. Not sure about best prices, i just went through heavy throttle as i was ordering a bunch of other stuff from them.

There are several different "stages". I'd call Ken an enjuku, he can probably get you the one you want even if it isn't listed on the site.

ok i just talked to enjuku and they said the SPEC is a much better clutch and that ACT doestn have stages, only street or strip. so im thinking of going with the SPEC stage3.

bull****. ACT has stages, I have a stage 3 six-puck racing clutch on my car. I love it...but non-racers hate it(my GF: "your clutch is the devil") its very quick engaging.

ask ken for the ACT six or four-puck clutch if you want some nice holding power. If he says they dont exist...hes lying so he can sell spec clutches. OTherwise, hit up options auto-salon. they have all the ACT clutches for the KA24DE cars.I like ken and I'll be buying more things from him..but geeze....EDIT:Ken is a good source of information, and if he likes spec clutches theres a good reason. I love my ACT, but you guys need to check other distrubutors opinions, not just a place that sells SPEC clutches....no offense to ken.-chet

heres what they sent me:

ACT doesn't have "stages" in their product line. The Street/Strip clutch and Race clutch kits are all they have available, making them a less desirable brand. The SPEC line is a MUCH better clutch kit. You can get a real stage 2 clutch that will hold more HP than the ACT, yet be just as smooth as the ACT street clutch. All SPEC and ACT clutch kits come with all parts needed for a complete install. You can get more info on the SPEC line at http://www.specclutch.com. Just for reference, we sell about 15 SPEC clutches to every one ACT. The SPEC line is much superior to the ACT. Thanks, Robert HoffmanCustomer ServiceVoice: 407-673-1320Fax: 407-673-1322
