Ok this may be a stupid question, but I have searched an was unable to find any helpful information. This is my first post, but I have read a lot in the last few weeks as I'm attempting my first sr swap. Well I have a 91 hatch, and i purchased a s14 motor. From my understanding the piping for the intercooler is different for the s14 from that of the s13, but my question is are the greddy spec M intercooler cores the same for s13 and s14. I'm having difficulty mounting my core and want to know if i'm missing something or if I infact have the wrong core. So if anyone can help me its greatly appreciated.

I contacted FRSport and I have the similar problem. I have a 96 240SX w/ S13 SR20DET. FRSport told me to purchase the S14 M Spec kit so the core can fit without problems due to the correct mounting points but the piping will be need to be modified. I already had some cheap *** FMIC kit on my car, so for now I'm using the same piping with the S14 Greddy Intercooler. Agentlank, you should have purchased the S13 M Spec kit. There's nothing wrong with the core it's just for the S14 front end.

Thanks for the replies guys. Ya i figured out that the s14 kit will not just bolt right up to the s13 but after 12 dollars spent at lowes the front mount is mounted and looks pretty good in my oppinion. Unfortunately i'm gonna need to do some work to the intercooler piping on the hot side, but what can you do? Thanks again.

Yeah, that's another problem. You can buy either a hot pipe from (Enjuku, EBAY or Greddy) with a BOV flange or have an exhaust shop bend some pipe for you. I recommend the first option, especially being that it will look a whole lot better. But, you might still need a little extra piping to connect the New Hot Pipe to the Greddy Pipe.

That's the problem I have. I'm going bolt up my new Hot-Pipe w/ Greddy flange to a piece exhaust piping that I picked up at AutoZone and connect those 2 pieces together with Silicone Couplers after I cut a little bit off the Greddy pipe and complete that side of the intercooler. 3 pieces total. I hope that didn't sound confunsing. Good Luck. All this stuff is a pain in the *** just to have this intercooler to fit properly.
