If a pilot bearing is also known as a Throwout bearing, then yes, my Spec clutch came with one.

I don't think it's the same thing. (Though there's always 12 names for the same part) The last clutch kit I bought had the clutch, the pressure plate, throwout bearing, alignment tool, and what I think was the pilot bearing. It actually goes in the middle of the flywheel. When the transmisison shaft is inserted, the very tip of it is actually aligned with the back of the flywheel. (think doughnut=flywheel, finger=input shaft) The Pilot bearing is what goes inbetween. You have to have a special tool to get the old one out because it's pressed in, so I just used the old one and chucked the new one. I didn't have any problems.
