SPEC A+ Customer Support

I bought a SPEC StageII clutch kit from Speed South a local speed shop who installed it for me year and a half ago. When taking my engine and transmission out I noticed the flywheel had some cracks in it. SPEC is located 25 miles from my house. So I decided to take my whole clutch assembly and flywheel to SPEC and see what they would recommend. I really didn`t have any big issues with the clutch assembly just wanted someone to check it out.

I entered SPEC building and within a few minutes I met Daniel. He helped me carry my clutch assembly from my car to the shop. He never asked for my sales receipt nor did he tell me it wasn`t covered because it had been over a year ago. When we talked he offered to upgrade my clutch to a newer version but instead I asked him if he could upgrade my clutch to handle more HP. He said that would be no problem. They would upgrade the components I had to handle 400hp to the crank and resurface the flywheel all for 125 bucks! He also told me it would be ready today. I had a phone call by lunch time telling me it was boxed up and ready for me to pick up.

Dam these guys are good!! Basically I have a complete new clutch kit! I am now a lifetime SPEC customer!

Wow I did not know they were in Birmingham, may have to pay them a visit, because I've been considering a different clutch.

That's pretty good customer service.... I know a few shops that could take some lessons from that.
