Speakers replacement

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Did anybody replace the factory speakers? I did not get navigation package with better sound so now I'm thinking to upgrade my speakers. Does anybody knows what size are they? and how to remove the grill on the door to access them?

looks like I might have to take panel off to see what size of speaker is sitting in there. Is there a good manual online so I can see how to disassemble the door panel?

Don't bother, the stock speakers probably run on some weird impedance like 2.8ohms or something.

Unless you want to spend the money to buy something like a JL Audio Cleansweet and then add your own amplifiers and speakers, you're wasting your time.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, don't bother trying as you'll end up way over your head.
