Speakers in a 240

Hey all,I recently got a 1990 240sx, and am rather disappointed it only has mounts for 4x6's, even in the rear. Has anyone modded so that 6x9's or any other size speakers fit in the rear? are there kits to do so? Any advice?

im interested also... i have some 6x9s adn i want to fit them in the back. guess im going to have to do some cutting

SEARCH, damnmitfront you can fit 5.25" component system easily, and some 6.5" systems. In a coupe you can fit 6x9's, and in a hatch you can fit 5.25" speakers with some modding.

Get creative - In the front 6.5"'s are fairly easy to put in place of the 4x6"'s. I know that wasn't anwsering the question. Just some insight for 'modding' to bigger speakers.

Try posting something in the Audio/Entertainment/Security forum. At least 1 guy that has made some interesting fiberglass mounts.

When you take off the back mounts for the 4x6's there is a bigger hole there. You might be able to fit 6x9's in there, if not you should be able to fit 5x7's. As for the front 6.5's are really not that hard to put in as kiwi said..
