Hi all,
I'm new here and recently bought an '08 Altima Coupe 3.5 SE in March. I do enjoy it but I've been doing some modest upgrades. I recently got a Pioneer AVIC-8000NEX and JL 10w3v3 subwoofer installed, now it's time to do the speakers. They're currently factory Bose speakers and I've been looking to get some Infinity Kappas. From what I've read, the door speaker sizes are 6.5 and rear are 6 x 9. I read about speakers on the dash, don't know if those could be upgraded as well but heard they were 3.5. Wanted to confirm this before making the upgrade.
Also, ever since I had the car, there was a large gap between the hood and the grille/front bumper. Is it normal or is it a bit large? It's never been in an accident and I have seen some AC's on the road but not with a gap this large. Picture: http://imgur.com/4ze3d0E.png Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to Nico Club!

I have a 2009 Altima, also I have the gap from the hood to the grille, also my mom's 2004 Altima has a very large gap too, so I guess this is common on Altimas, I took this picture earlier today after installing the EZ front lip, but take a look at the hood and grille gap. Image

The gap between the hood and grill is normal. The body panel gaps on the Altima seem to be larger than normal. :yesnod

Thanks guys. Any info on the speakers? Want to make sure I'm getting the right sizes.

Are those headlights OEM? I thought they were only available on the AC 2010+

His coupe had a salvage title and the previous owner installed the refreshed front fascia on his '09.

How you installed your head unit and kept the stock speakers
