speakers for '92 vert

Awww hell yeah! just got a '92 vert :ylsuper but the stock speakers are crap. I went by Best buy to see what was possible and they told me 4x6's for front and back I'm sorry but I just picked up a Sony CDXM8800 for this baby and I'm not gonna run it through those cheesy speakers.

Can anyone offer suggestions for what is possible while keeping things stock?:help

Not sure about the rears, but there's a thread for adapter plates for the fronts to allow 6.5's, check it out. They're even from a NICO sponsor Undergroung Motorsports .

My friend has some. Ask circuit city or the like. Also, you can custom makes holders out of wood/sheet metal if you have basic fabricating skills. Its not hard just cut out a scquare, cut a mounting hole and bolt em down. 6.5 components would definatly be enough to have HIGH quality sound with some good punch. If you really want high quality sound and not too worried bout the budget, get some MB Quart components and you will want to install a widescreen and start watching movies
