Hey could any tell me wat the speaker size is the 2 front dash speakers in the A/C ??? 3.5 tweeters? and if replacing speakers to aftermark would u have to change them to? (on a non-Bose) thankx

I believe it is a 3.5" speaker. You would not need to replace it, but better sounding speaker options (component sets) will come with a tweeter that is separated from the midrange so you can mount it anywhere. I've got 1" tweeters mounted in the dash location, and 6.5" mids mounted in the doors. This will generate a better sound than 6.5" coaxial (tweeter mounted along the same axis as the mid) speakers installed in the doors. It all comes down to how much money you are going to spend.

so your sayin i would have the indash tweeters stay and then if i were to get compent speakers (which i wanted to, i was gunna get these http://www.onlinecarstereo.com...17563) mount the 1" tweeters too? right. Its funny u responed to this cuz i wanted to ask u if you had any specs on the box you mad i wanted to make the same one on the opposite side of yours. Like the measurements n how u did it if you got that, cuz i never mad 1 and u said u custom mad it urself, so any info on that would help greatly thanx....

Nah, take the speakers in the dash out and replace them completely with the tweets from your component set. You may need to fab something up to mount the tweeter to (since a 1" tweet will obviously fall through a 3.5" hole):



As far as the enclosure goes, I didn't really measure anything out for it. I kind of gutted the trunk and then used cardboard to cut shapes and figure out sizes. I then transferred that over to MDF and put the layout together making sure everything fit. It started something like this (and I doubt I'd be able to measure now since it is a pain to take everything out - it's kind of crammed in there):
