I'm going to be purchasing an 06' or 07' M35, M35x or 45 soon. Would love to get the upgraded stereo with the speaker seats... What's the details on this, how do you know if the car has em' - can you add speaker seats to a car that didn't have em?

its on the advance tech package, which includes the lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control, which is nice, you can tell with the added extra buttons on the steering wheel on the right side of the wheel...

you can also tell by the sensor in the front bumper for adaptive cruise control.
also on the front windshield there is a front face camera for the lane departure warning
BTW its a good investment - i was considering buying a base model at first but with the advance tech package, i got a pretty hefty discount on insurance wise with the added safety

The 08+ cars are the ones with the lane departure warning brake assist. The 06-07 cars just have the "beep". Also the seat speakers are easy to see on top of the seats. To put the "speaker seats" in a base car would require far more work than it is worth (wiring and amp would have to be changed and possibly more stuff).

When I had the rear seat out it looked like most if not all of the wiring is there (would just need the sub harnesses) and the brackets are definitely there. wingFeather, if you do the add post up pics!
