i have a 92 maxima without the bose system in it, it already has aftermarket stereo but i'm trying to change rear speakers but dont know how to can anyone help me??also what size speakers are for that car the fronts look like 4x6's and rear i cant see yet.

You need to remove the rear package shelf. The speaker grilles are attached to it and can't be removed with it in place anyway. To do that, you need to remove the rear seatback, which involves 3 or 4 bolts...one at each lower edge behind the lower seat cusion and 1 or 2 in the middle behind grommets behind the armrest. Then the seat back lifts out of slots in the package shelf. After that, the shelf pops free with snap-fasteners and lifts out, exposing your speakers (which are round in the back, not oval, but I can't recall the dimensions).

Oh, and the center brake light, if you don't have a spoiler, is held in place by a screw/expander fastener on the driver side.

the rear speakers dont look like 6x9's they are round from what i can see underneath did the 92 come with 2 different sizes?
