It is possible that the speakers mounting chassis could be grounding and causing it to cut out. Try putting a layer of electrical tape on the lip of the speaker opening (car side) before installing and see if that helps.GuSpeed wrote:Hello. I bought 4 new speakers for my car. None have speaker mounts. It has metal to metal contact with the speakers. Well I have all of them hooked up and it play for a little bit and it cut out. After taking one of the rear speaker out it work. What can I do to get the 4th speaker back in there working? Would speaker mounts do it? or do I need to do something else?
