Does anyone have advice on how to get the speakers out of a 1992 240SX SE coupe? I can't get the covers off without looking like i am going to bend or tear something?

You have to remove the whole door panel, the covers are just for looks.

OK. How do you get the door panels and the rear deck (where the speakers are) off?

Inside the door pull cups there is a pop out panel that hides a screw. There is a screw in the upper corner (towards dash) of the panel. Then the panels pop off. Passanger side you need to remove the Oh-s*** handle, turn it 90 degrees to remove.

Rear panel, remove your 3rd brake light (1 plastic screw on each side, light comes off, disconnect wiring). Open the trunk and push from underneath all the plastic tabs until the whole panel is removed.

BTW if you dont already know, front speakers are 4x6 and rears are 6 3/4 (some places call them 6 1/2S, the S meaning oversized).
