SPDT fan relay help please...

Ok, I am attempting to make my own little fan relay for my 89 240sx w/ an electric fan setup. I've read the 240sx.org install, and don't know if I can tap into the fan relay the way the writer has on his s14 - I will try that if I can't figure out how to make my own relay.

I tried reading the12volt's explanation several times and still don't know what to do.



I basically have

a blue positive wire from the fana black ground wire from the fan - will be connected to chassisa wire that will turn on with the ignition on (don't know which wire that will be yet)a positive wire from the battery

Ok, what do I hook where?

Doing this from memory, so I could be wrong30 is ground87 is battery86 is going to the device85 is the on/off switch

or i could mixed up 86and85to test. hook up 30 and 87 and touch a 12v wire to 86 and 85. the one that makes it "click" or turn on/off is the triggerHTH
