NGK's should be the only plugs you put in your Z.

-For NA owners with basic bolt ons : PFR6G-11

-For NA owners with an upgraded ignition or nitrous : PFR7G-11 (one step colder)

No.

Cheap v-powers work just fine in most cars but do not run them in a Z32. Please do not recommend parts that you have not tried in a Z32. The VG30 is picky with plugs.

Agreed. The VG is picky about most things.

You'd be ok with NGK Iridium plugs as well.

PFR7G-11's are much safer with nos or even with agressive cam and fuel mods.

don't use 2$ plugs you'll regret every penny saved when you rebuild due to the plug head dropping off in your cylinder.

If you're advice leads to a blown motor, then you can be sure somebody will jump on it.

Imagine if somebody told you to do something that would damage your engine, you wouldn't be too happy.

I honestly have no problem with the suggestion to use the v-powers, so long as they are the correct heat range, it has actually been a long standing rule of thumb not to use platinum plugs on turbo engine (or any forced induction or nitrous), platinum plugs electrodes have lower melting points that the traditional counterpart and also have smaller electrodes more prone to hot spotting and causing pre-ignition, modern plugs I suppose have managed to egineer around their weakpoints, but still no reason why a traditional plug can't be used, I run Denso U-grooves in my 299 whp L28ET at 20 psi with no problems whatsoever and I run very aggressive timing maps!

I have melted v-power plugs in my old Nitrous ZC civic but I over gassed it so I can't blame the plugs

I always felt better about buying Denso's as they amade in Japan, NGK's are made in america, when I had a rabbit I ran Bosch
