I typically replace platinum plugs at 100k, so I went to my local Advance Auto today to get a new set for my 2.5L. The factory plug is unlike any I've seen before, NGK number DILKAR6A11. It's very tall and slender. I needed a 14 mm deepwell socket to remove it. None of my sparkplug sockets would fit into the well. I used a piece of rubber hose to pull it out.Advance had to order the NGK's, $50.84 but not in until 11/13. I came home and got on NGK's site, but they have no listing for an '08. Courtesy Nissans site said NGK PLFR5A11 was the plug at $9.90 each, $48.XX delivered. That plug is slightly colder than the ones in my car. The Courtesy guy said that wouldn't have any effect on my performance/MPG.Here's shot of one of my plugs with 102K on it. The gap is still at the .044 factory spec and I think it looks pretty good (probably doesn't need replaced yet). Courtesy said they recommend 75k intervals, so what the heck.
