Spark Problem with an s13 ka42de

So i cant get any spark from my motor. I just got done replacing the head gasket, stripping all the emissions and losing the butterfly valve. It ran and started before i pulled it all apart, BUt now i dont have any spark. I swapped the dizzy out, and put 2 different coils in, but still not spark... Help!

check your grounds. did you try putting one of the plugs on the valve cover? another trick is pull the fuel pump fuse and start it I have no idea how it works but it works on mine and my roommates 240 when it doesn't start.

try pulling one of the spark plug s out then connect the wire back on the plug. place the ground side of the plug very close 2 a bolt then have some one crank it over nd c if u get spark. if not unplug the plug from the wire nd now ground it 2 the same ground nd c if ur getting spark. give that a shot.

I have pulled the plugs and tried that, but i still have no spark. That is the way that i found out i had no spark in the first place. I do need to check all the grounds. I did end up re-routing the wires to clean the engine bay so i may have missed something. But it's also an s14 head on a s13 block with an s13 front conver, could that be affecting it?
