I think you are talking about the Ignitor chip? It is hard to follow what you are saying. Pictures might help.

Your ignitor chip needs two plugs going to it, I believe one has 4 pins, the other has 5 pins. The wires from one plug go to the ECU, the other plug the wires go to the coils that sit on top of teh spark plugs. Both plugs need to be hooked to the igniter chip or you won't get spark.

It sounds like you are getting ready to fire up for the first time... MAKE SURE YOU HAVE OIL PRESSURE BEFORE YOU FIRE THE MOTOR UP! to do this crank it over prefferably with teh spark plugs out, until teh oil pressure light goes out, or the mechanical gauge you have hooked up shows oild pressure (should see at least 20lbs when cranking) AND that you see oil on the cam that is visible through the oil filler.

The ignitor chip should not be plugged into the CAS, unless i am reading this diagram wrong. I'll post them for you, if it lets me..

No, the ignitor doesn't plug into the CAS plug, that's where teh CAS plugs into.

If this works... this should be a picture of an igniter chip, mounted on the origianl bracket, with the plugs connected.

89DOHC do you have one of these, hooked up correctly?http://home.mindspring.com/~ah...8.JPG

I pulled it out of the S14 FSM. (http://www.zilvia.net/faqs/faqs.asp) That page has all the info you could ever need.. except an S13 SR manual.. grumble.

So i got the S14 manual for the SR wiring, and the S13Ca manual for all the non engine related trouble.
