i have a 1990 240sx with the ka24e. when i bought the car it did not run. the guy i bought it from said he thought it was the distributor. when i checked out the engine i noticed it also had a cracked head. so i pulled out the motor changed the head, changed all the internals, i have a new distributor (timed correctly), MSD blaster ss coil, optima battery, Magnecor 8.5 wires, new cap and rotor, ngk iridium plugs, my altenator was rebuilt along with lots of other things that were changed. when we put the motor back in it cranks but wont start. i changed the fuel pump and i know i'm getting fuel. the starter obviously works because it cranks but i am not getting any spark. the coil is getting power, the battery is new, i've tried starting it with two different ecu's, i've pulled the plugs out and grounded them while trying to start it and no spark. i've checked the fuses and replaced ones that were burnt. i don't know what to do anymore please help i need a car real bad.

I thought I remembered aftermarket ignition stuff being kinda weird with imports so I checked the MSD site.

Here is some info off of the MSD website:

If your fuel injected import vehicle fails to start or the tachometer reads erratically, you will need an MSD Tach Adapter PN 8910. If the PN 8910 is installed and you have spark but the vehicle will still not run, you will need a special Tach Adapter. Contact MSD Tech for the correct Adapter.

The site address is http://www.msdignition.com

slowback, that doesn't apply to him unless he is running an MSD box ignition. i think he's just running an msd coil.

this is a hard one..
