I was looking to get some new spark Plugs for my 92 240. I guess NGK are the best kind to get however the prices seem to range from 10-60$$.I was going to purchase some NGK sparks plugs for only about 14$ for 4.Then i go to this website and there selling NGK Platinum....iridium....etc. Will it really make a difference between the cheap plugs and the expensive ones?

What engine? When I still got my KA, I run the NGK copper plugs with a MSD 6A ignition box and SS blaster Coil. Works great.

Probably best to stick with the factory recommened plugs. Any Autozone or whatever can pull the model number from the computer. I don't see a reason to buy "better" plugs if you don't have a more agressive ingnition system.

the sohc i just installed had autolite platinums in it and they were messed up after 20k thats if they were changed. anyway i was told platinum isnt recommended for these engines and i believe it.
